This year’s recruitment for our Summer Internship Program was again record-breaking. We received almost 70 applications for 6 prepared places. This month the first two students completed their internship. The results are promising. This time we are implementing a larger project at the intersection of R&D and software engineering practice. As usual, the interns are working under the guidance of an experienced mentor implementing a very specific software project, which may result in our new product. As usual on such occasions, we explore new promising technologies. This time it fell on Nuxt.js metaframework for Vue.js. By using Nuxt.js, we gain easier configuration, a very rich set of modules e.g. for routing, databases, optimization, etc., and built-in multiple rendering modes (SSR, SPA, Universal). We will keep you posted on the progress.
