Almost all CODEFUSION crew is still working remotely. We miss personal contacts, exchanging comments at the coffee machine or joint lunch breaks or going to the store. However, we are lucky that technically our work can be done remotely without much problem. A necessary condition is, as the name implies, a “Home Office”. Without a comfortable and quiet workplace connected to the Internet, “Home Office” is just “Home”. “Office” disappears. An additional Evening Scrum (additional agile afternoon organizational meeting) or more frequent contacts via instant messengers are just the beginning. Soon we will try Event Storming (a modern type of requirements engineering workshop) remotely via the Internet. We are learning all the time!
