DevOps movement is becoming more and more popular in the computer world. The “Dev” part stands for development. The “Ops” part stands for operations – IT operations in that sense. When combined they produce a new movement that emphasizes the harmonious cooperation between these entities in a computer related enterprise – with emphasis on producing successful software. Sometimes quality assurance is added to the equation. As a result, we get a DevOps engineering professional that combines the capabilities of these different entities. Interesting, right? In fact most of us at CODEFUSION are DevOps. Maybe it’s because we are a small group of computer savvy people, and we have to be proficient in both software development and IT. Or maybe we simply like it?
