On 12-13 June, we had the opportunity to take part in the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024, held in Warsaw. The event was full of energy and inspiring lectures. Our company was represented by Karolina and Wiktoria, who came back full of impressions and new ideas.
During the conference, they had the opportunity to listen to speeches such as those by Professor Andrzej Dragan on artificial intelligence and Professor Christiane Floyd, a pioneer of computer science in German-speaking countries. They were particularly impressed by a speech by Slawosz Uznański, a Polish engineer and ESA reserve astronaut, who talked about his life path and research on the space station.
One of the most interesting topics was a discussion on femtech, or technologies that support women’s health issues. Equally important were the panels on neurodiversity, which highlighted the importance of adapting the working environment to different needs and abilities, which can enrich and strengthen any team.
Our female colleagues also had the opportunity to see a live quantum computer, which was an interesting experience. It was two intense days, full of valuable meetings and inspiration.
